This is the DJI Innovations Spreading Wings S800 Hexacopter Kit. The Spreading Wings S800 is not your standard multi-rotor aircraft. The S800 was developed for experienced multi-rotor and commercial aerial photography enthusiasts in mind. Designed to be used in conjunction with the DJI Wookong-M IMU autopilot system (DJI-WKM sold separately), the S800 delivers unmatched flight stability, with the ability to perform the precision maneuvers and deliver the consistent flight speeds that are critical for aerial photography.

Other features include injection molded arms with integrated electronics and wiring for easy assembly/disassembly, an efficient, yet powerful control system and carbon fiber propellers. When you combine these included features with the optional DJI Zenmuse Z15 Gimbal System (DJI-ZNMSE), and S800 Retract System (DJI-S800-LGU), you have an incredible aerial photography system that is limited only by your imagination.

• Innovative Damping System: The innovative built-in damping system allows the helicopter to be assembled without additional frames and dampers. The system helps minimize size, reduce weight and simplify installation that can be applied on different helicopter models. Additionally, it provides more options for physical installation.
• Circuit-Integrated Center Frame: All the circuitry from the batteries and electronic components of the Frame Arms, PMU and gimbals are integrated into the Center Frame, which simplifies the wiring, reducing the possibility of malfunction and helps with quick disassembly.
• Integrated Frame Arm Design: With the innovative integrated design of the Frame Arms, all the power and signal wires for the motor, ESC and LED indicator are embedded into the Frame Arms. This delivers a simple and clean installation, with a special slot design assembly of the Frame Arms and Center Frame. Long term testing has proven the overall design is safe, reliable, simple and stable.
• Integrated ESC Design: The ESC components are installed inside the Frame Arms beneath the motors, solving the problem of radiating heat. LED indicators are included, and can be used to easily identify the nose and tail of the S800.
• High Performance Brushless Motors: The high performance brushless motors feature a special design and deliver reduced noise and vibration for smooth turning, extended lifespan, simplified maintenance, stability and improved overall performance of the aircraft.
• Efficient Carbon Fiber Propellers: The carbon fiber propellers have been tested for balance and are only selected after strict evaluation. The carbon fiber propellers have an exquisite appearance, are light weight, strong and efficient.
• Clear Installation Symbols: Symbols for connection ( ⊗ and ⊙ ) are shown on the Center Frame and Frame Arms. The connection sequence between the Frame Arms and Main Controller are also indicated with symbols which helps to avoid incorrect installation.
• Quick Assembly & Disassembly Landing Skid: Simple assembly and disassembly of the S800 Landing skid makes it convenient to carry and transport. Almost the entire landing skid is made of carbon fiber material, which can support heavy payloads and ensures rigidity and durability.
• WooKong-M Matched: WooKong-M IMU installation position has been reserved in the Center Frame. In addition, signs on the slot of the Center Frame clarify the channels’ numbers of the WooKong-M IMU, which helps users install the autopilot system correctly and rapidly.
