DJI Mavic Mini Quadcopter Drone
So far I have been extremely impressed with this little unit! Flight times are on the 22-27 minute realm in decent breez, and gusty conditions, low light has been great so far, precision in tight areas, near trees, and the ground has been excellent.
I strongly recommend dusting off any spot you intend on landing at with a few extra seconds of hovering back and forth around the target final landing to keep more dust off and out of this little-one. landing is a tid iffy in grass, and takeoff impossible due to the small size, but both can be done from your hand.
The included controller cables don't take phone cases into account, so I'm using the micro usb cable with a usbC adapter instead of the included usbC cable in order to keep my OtterBox on my S8+.
Ads say that it has active tracking, however it is locked into specific cinematic capture modes with no current way to make it 'follow' you.
Some of the quick shots do actively track a visual target with the camera, and some stare at the point of interest
These are peculiarities that I hope will be patched out soon, as I was hoping to have it follow RC cars during a race, but I still like this little 'copter
