This is a pack of three optional DE Racing XD "Extreme Duty" Rear Skid Plates. The XD skid plates are the next step in the evolution of the DE Racing Skid Plate. With a re-designed leading edge and stronger screw countersinks the XD series skid plates are more durable than ever before! These plates are a must if you are running outdoors! They work great and one will last a long weekend without a problem.
NOTE: A Main Hobbies does not list the Tekno SCT410 as one of the models that these fit, but they do perfectly!

If you run the suspension the way it is designed, you need to invest in these parts. Without them, you will wear a hole in your chassis in less than a year. I've seen it personally and the hole looks like some kind of cheese grater. These wear-out but are cheap and can be replaced readily on the EB48 and SCT410

Strongly recommended!
My SCT410.3, EB48.3 and ET48.3 all have one!
They used to have scratches on the bottom of the chassis but thanks to the skid plates, there are none now!
These are very heavy duty and does not crack.
The only thing I do not like is the mounting screw holes gets bigger and bigger the more I use it and I'm afraid it cannot hold the plate to the chassis at one point.
However, for the price you cannot beat it at all!

I'm currently running an NB48 and wore a hole through the rear of the chassis this past weekend at the 3.5 gallon mark (very abrasive dry track). I've never been a fan of skids but with the accelerated wear at the local track, decided these were going to be mandatory. This weekend will be the first trip out with them and I'll update the rating based on how they perform.
