CRC Encore Shock

This is the optional CRC Encore Shock, and is intended for use with 1/12 and 1/10 pan cars. The Encore shock features a bladder design with a removable lower spring perch. The removable lower spring perch makes changing the spring a breeze. No need to remove the entire bottom of the shock like other designs, just slip the spring perch out and the center spring comes right off.

Also featured on the Encore shock is a hardened shock shaft to resist bending in large impacts. The shock length, preload, spring rate and damping are all adjustable. The Encore shock builds very simply with a super soft silicone bladder membrane and it comes complete with different ball cups and mounting eyelets.

The Encore Shock fits most 1:12th road cars and 1:10th oval cars for side shocks. The Encore builds with no pressure, so these make for perfect side shocks on the oval cars. CRC will soon offer a threaded insert that will allow the user to add a standoff to greatly change the shock length. Look for that add on part soon.
