Cox Sky Cruiser RTF Electric Glider
After reading some of the reviews here I decided I had to offer my own. The reviewers who write "unresponsive" and "poor build quality" are way off in my opinion. For weighing in around 4 oz. all up weight, this little plane is absolutely amazing.

Yes this plane will break if you're careless and slam it hard into the ground or hit obstacles with it. It's an RC plane, not a tank.

Even if you break a part on the plane it's made of expanded polyolefin (EPO) which takes high-temp hot glue extremely well. The only issues I had was the elevator hinge broke when I cart-wheeled a landing. Some tiny bits of packaging tape on the upper and lower hinge section fixed it and required a small trim adjustment.

For beginner pilots it's necessary to fly in very calm conditions at first. After getting the hang of this plane in calm conditions and understanding its stall characteristics, I am able to toss it up in 10mph winds and fly it around with amazing control. The control surfaces are only the rudder and elevator. The slight dihedral in the main wing portion and the moderately curved up wing tips make this thing very stable even in wind. I was a little skeptical that the tiny brushed motor wouldn't have enough push for wind, but I was happily surprised. Plenty of power out of that 12mm diameter by 20mm long brushed motor.

In calm conditions with light throttle use you can expect up to 15 minutes on the 250mAh battery that's included. I added an E-Flight 430mAh battery with the JST plug already installed and I can get nearly 30 minutes with light throttle use. In windy conditions with almost constant full throttle the stock battery run time diminishes to about 8-9 minutes, which is still amazing.

It's a great little "everything included" starter for any age pilot. I have advanced to 4 channel park sized planes and I still bring the Sky Cruiser to the field every time I go out. It's just a fun plane with very straight-forward flight behavior and an amazingly large flight envelope for being such a small lightweight plane.)

Cox Sky Cruiser RTF Electric Glider
I bought this plane because its advertised being durable , flexable ...dont worry if you crash it...I watched several videos where they show on purpose crashing it and it does no damage ...

So I bought it, I even pd 22.00 for shipping to get it faster...It crashed on my first attempt to fly it wasnt even 30 feet in the air. The nose split wide open where they glued it together and the little servo board broke off the chassis and it never flew again...They advertise this falsely.. I ask for an exchange but was told no its user error. But they will sell me another one for 80 dollars ...forget it ..NO I DONT RECOMMEND IT..nor this place)

Got this as a gift....never got it up in the air. It was missing a gear on one of the servos...went out and bought a sky surfer instead.)

I'm fairly experienced and found this plane to be extremely unresponsive. And as others have mentioned, it has workmanship issues as well. So all in all, it's a poor build of a poor design. I wouldn't recommend it.)

Cox Sky Cruiser RTF Electric Glider
I would like to say this plane flew great, was easy to control, and was sturdy and could handle a crash but the fact of the matter is. I don't know I never had a chance to find out. Upon receiving the plane I opened the package and read thru the instructions. I charged the provided battery with the provided battery charger, assemble the plane, and then plugged the battery into the plane. The plane immediately started smoking. I ripped the battery out but the damage was already done. Now I have to contact the manufacturer and go thru the pain of finding their closest repair shop, send the plane to them and wait to see if they will repair, replace,or shaft me. Not very happy with this thing at all. Your experience may be different but at this moment I would not recommend this model to anyone.)

Cox Sky Cruiser RTF Electric Glider
I purchased this plane awhile back and it has been nothing but a dream to fly, for a beginers glider it it fantastic one to own. It's actually made by Nine Eagles with A Cox branded name. I have had my fair share of hard belly landings and on occasion a nose dive and this little guy has surprised me with its durability. A little tail heavy I used a 500mah 2S and the CG has been dead on so far. Anyone looking to get into RC flying should not look past this one, excellent for any beginer. Highly recommended A+ for Cox!)
