This is the CRC VBC Racing WildFire 1/10 Scale Touring Car Kit. VBC Racing designed the WildFire with racers in mind. Using a highly sophisticated CAD system, the VBC Racing WildFire was developed to provide maximum performance on any size track, regardless of the surface. High quality parts such as USA manufactured carbon fiber, 7075 aluminum, ball bearings and VBC developed belts and screws are used throughout providing the user with a lightweight and durable competition level touring car.

- Race developed torsional chassis for maximum performance on any type of track surface or size
- The main chassis and upper deck were developed from a highly sophisticated CAD system which simulates the actual chassis roll during low and high speed corners with different track layout parameters. The chassis shape was then derived to provide enough flex for fast corners yet rigid enough during high speed straight lines
- The narrow chassis design moves the weight as close to the center line as possible increasing steering response with an adjustable low profile carbon fiber battery mounting system
- Light weight true spinning gear differentials system with self developed front and rear belts creating a smooth drive train system

- It is always a hassle when adjusting the belt tensions on today’s car, but with the WildFire, all you need to do is slightly unscrew the bottom 2.5mm screws and turn the yellow tensioner rings, tighten the 2.5mm screws and you are done

CRC VBC Racing WildFire 1/10 Touring Car Kit
I have run a fair amount of touring cars over the years including Losi, Tamiya, Team Associated, XRAY, and most recently, the VBC Wildfire.
The VBC Wildfire has been racking up wins on both carpet and asphalt. In fact, it is now a 2 time ROAR National Champion with its most recent national win coming at the Asphalt Nats just a couple of weeks ago.
I have had some success with all of my touring cars over the years, but none have worked as well (Especially right out of the box) as the VBC Wildfire. This car has required minimal setup changes from track to track, and has been right at the top of every A-Main thus far (Within top 3), which is a feat when you are racing against fellow SoCal fast guys.
If you race stock touring classes (17.5, 13.5 and 10.5 in particular), you know that corner speed is of the utmost importance. The VBC Wildfire has absolutely insane corner speed, great steering and doesn't scrub, so while other cars are slowing down and rolling harshly into corners, the VBC smoothly transitions in and out like no other touring car that I have driven.
Something else worth noting about VBC is their attention to detail in design, materials and craftsmanship. The CNC work and aluminum (7075 grade) is top notch. VBC also uses premium grade carbon fiber that is sourced right here from the United States. All of the moulded components fit together seamlessly with no slop. The shock ends thread onto the shock shaft so easily that it can be done by hand. Lastly, VBC manufactures their own belts and screws for this car! If you look carefully, you will see that every screw is stamped with VBC Racing. Such care and attention to detail are not often seen at any price point, let alone at the price point of the VBC Wildfire.
The bottom line is if you want to win races, regardless of what everybody else is driving, the VBC Wildfire should be at the top of your list.
