This is an optional CRC Altered Ego Conversion Kit, and is intended for use with the Calandra Racing Concepts Xti 1/12 pan car. With the Altered Ego parts, the Xti pan car can be run inline or transverse, however, the geometry alterations do make for a tight fit between the 1s pack and the reversed servo in the inline configuration. CRC has run the car inline and claim it is awesome. However, only the smaller sized ESC's and receivers make this possible. In the transverse position, the car has a ton of room to mount electronics and lots of options to move the battery forward and back.
Also, the chassis has been beefed up as there has been some chassis breakage in the body mount area on the Xti. This has been more of a problem for those who do not use a CRC compatible bumper. CRC recommends using the CLN3259 bumper. Foam bumpers from other manufactures (ie: Associated) are NOT designed for the CRC car and are not recommended. Save a life, save a lexan body, save a chassis, use the bumper made for the car.
NOTE: CLN3225 rear top plate and CLN3224 bottom plate are needed to complete the conversion. The Altered Ego chassis is not the same geometry as the stock Xti.
