The BowHouse RC N2R High Clearance Skid for the HPI Venture gets rid of that unsightly and inconvenient hump under the stock skid, improving ground clearance by over 4mm and allowing the skid to slide smoothly over obstacles. This is bolt-on upgrade is a direct replacement for the stock skid and does not require any additional modification to install.

Had no issues with Transmission seating as in prior review. (I order this from Shapeways to get the stronger plastic, but same part just twice as much$$.) To get rid of the bump, the Transmission is basically clocked a tad bit, keeping the motor driveline in the same place. So the Trans case sits on the skid at an angle. The screw holes are angled as well with recessed heads for protection. The front and rear driveshafts are just slightly raised. The Bowhouse LCG battery tray also works with this skid no issues.
