The best micro RC collective pitch helicopter gets even better! Like the Nano CP S model before it, the Blade® Nano S2 heli lays a path to 3D aerobatic expertise that's paved for success — with new features, including a redeveloped stabilizing system, that make challenging maneuvers such as flips and inverted flight easy for pilots at all skill levels to master.

Blade developers first brought SAFE® stabilizing technology to the Nano heli platform with the Nano CP S. If pilots felt disoriented, all they needed to do was press the Panic Recovery button. SAFE technology immediately came to the rescue, locking the model in a perfectly level attitude.

Now the Nano S2 micro introduces more innovations for even greater stability and confidence-building control. The custom-tuned AS3X® system at the heart of its SAFE technology has been improved. So has the performance of the SAFE Angle Demand and Panic Recovery features. New to the Nano platform, SAFE Z Altitude Control uses the heli's on-board accelerometer to maintain a consistent altitude. And the new flight controller has been mounted vertically to improve damping and remove vibration to the gyro.

As a result, the Nano S2 is easier to control than ever, and the performance is dazzling. Like the previous Blade Nano models, this one is full of aerobatic tricks. Its collective pitch design accommodates everything from gentle hovering to daring, advanced maneuvers. Strong coreless motors and a 45C LiPo flight battery produce capable power for 3D flight. Linear servos deliver the muscle for impressive control authority.

Construction with super-resilient polymers along with a carbon-fiber main shaft and tail boom give the model's lightweight airframe amazing durability. Most impacts that occur while practicing 3D maneuvers cause no harm. If you do happen to need a repair, nearly all of the parts from the Nano CP S are compatible with the Nano S2.

Blade Nano S2 RTF Ultra Micro Electric Helicopter
I cannot even begin to describe how pathetically fragile this thing is. Yes, I am a novice pilot, but I have owned and really beaten on my Blade 70 for over a year and it has help up great. If you so much a sneeze in the vicinity of the Nano S2, you have already broken at least 2 parts. On top of that, the stability mode is anything but stable. The helicopter wanders all over the place and the control inputs are very very non-linear. As it drifts to the left and you touch the stick to the right you get: nothing, nothing, nothing, 45 degree swing!!! Followed shortly thereafter by a crash and 2 broken blades. Save your money, or better yet just by Real Flight. You won't learn how to fly this thing, but at least all of your repairs will be free.

Blade Nano S2 RTF Ultra Micro Electric Helicopter
I bought this for my husband and he loves it., he started fly heli's 10 years ago and it didnt go so well ,then he was deployed over seas to serve his military duties, after returning home. He was very depressed and out of touch with life and living life, so I bought him the blade 70s witch he took to very quickly, now he's trying to learn 3d flying, I'm starting to see the man he was before he went over seas, he seems happier now ...

Thank you AMain Hobbies for giving me back my husband.

Blade Nano S2 RTF Ultra Micro Electric Helicopter
Decent heli for the price only downside is battery that comes with the rtf version is garbage I bought a extra battery from horizon hobby and it is much better. I don’t see why the rtf battery is not as good I would like to see a replacement battery sent out

Blade Nano S2 RTF Ultra Micro Electric Helicopter
This model has all sorts of fickle binding and operating issues. The instructions are not complete and it requires scouring youtube videos and blogs to get the configuration correct. Even still, the pitch control doesn't work like a CP heli with a very advanced (so I thought) iX12 Spektrum transmitter.

Quality control very much needed.

Blade Nano S2 RTF Ultra Micro Electric Helicopter
Helicopter flew well and smooth. Problem was the binding which was really a hassle and I almost quit, fortunately in YouTube I found a tutorial that was for the Nano CP but worked the same for this Nano S2.
