The best micro RC collective pitch helicopter gets even better! Like the Nano CP S model before it, the Blade® Nano S2 heli lays a path to 3D aerobatic expertise that's paved for success — with new features, including a redeveloped stabilizing system, that make challenging maneuvers such as flips and inverted flight easy for pilots at all skill levels to master.

Blade developers first brought SAFE® stabilizing technology to the Nano heli platform with the Nano CP S. If pilots felt disoriented, all they needed to do was press the Panic Recovery button. SAFE technology immediately came to the rescue, locking the model in a perfectly level attitude.

Now the Nano S2 micro introduces more innovations for even greater stability and confidence-building control. The custom-tuned AS3X® system at the heart of its SAFE technology has been improved. So has the performance of the SAFE Angle Demand and Panic Recovery features. New to the Nano platform, SAFE Z Altitude Control uses the heli's on-board accelerometer to maintain a consistent altitude. And the new flight controller has been mounted vertically to improve damping and remove vibration to the gyro.

As a result, the Nano S2 is easier to control than ever, and the performance is dazzling. Like the previous Blade Nano models, this one is full of aerobatic tricks. Its collective pitch design accommodates everything from gentle hovering to daring, advanced maneuvers. Strong coreless motors and a 45C LiPo flight battery produce capable power for 3D flight. Linear servos deliver the muscle for impressive control authority.

Construction with super-resilient polymers along with a carbon-fiber main shaft and tail boom give the model's lightweight airframe amazing durability. Most impacts that occur while practicing 3D maneuvers cause no harm. If you do happen to need a repair, nearly all of the parts from the Nano CP S are compatible with the new Nano S2.

Blade Nano S2 BNF Ultra Micro Electric Helicopter
I have flown planes and helicopters (coaxial)years ago then moved and quit for some time. I got the flying bug again and did some research on helis. I wanted a heli I could re learn on but also advance my abilities without having to buy yet another bird. This Nano s2 fits the bill. Have flown about 50 times and now can fly in stunt 2. What a great heli. I have crashed it a few times with zero damage and with all those flights as a beginer with no damage should tell you something. I highly reccomend this heli but there is only one thing I dislike about it. The color scheme is terrible, light blue with white. Very difficult to see orientation when outside. If your taking it outside I reccomend a different color canopy and blades. Other than that what a great little bird.

Blade Nano S2 BNF Ultra Micro Electric Helicopter
Having fun with this little guy. I'm giving 4 stars because of the short flight time in full CP mode.
The manual says to set the timer for four minutes. In agility mode I get 3 minutes and it hits LVC.
Still fun! Good buy!

Blade Nano S2 BNF Ultra Micro Electric Helicopter
Have been flying helicopters for over 15 years now. Have two of these over the last few months. Both of them had FB premature lipo cutoff issues. When you would flip the heli, i.e. fly inverted, etc., the FB unit would shut down the motors. Horizon did send me new parts which was nice of them. I have noticed however that the motors do not last long at all. They get tired, quick! Also, after having 23 Eflite ultra micro batteries, only 3 of them operate to specifications. All others would hold a charge 3 or 4 times tops which is a drag! I have used different chargers for these little batteries and makes no difference. Please know that if you’re more of an advanced flyer, you wont get much run time at 100% throttle. (IU2). Which there were some better motors and better batteries available around here. If you are new to flying helicopters, I would recommend this product & you can benefit from using the “safe” feature, which is the sensor assisted flight envelop. It will self level for you while you get the feel of it and has really slow descent and ascent so you have more time to make corrections. But if you are more of a 3D guy, or more advanced flyer that doesn’t use SAFE, I really wouldn’t waste your time with these.

Blade Nano S2 BNF Ultra Micro Electric Helicopter
This is my first helicopter and I love it! I'm learning to hover very quickly with this. My dad flew it and loves the full 3d capability of it. Its good for new pilots for sure as I am one. Its very stable and great for flying in my living room while watching TV. I highly recommend this little heli. Its a mere 7.8 inches long nose to tail. Its truly a micro heli.

Blade Nano S2 BNF Ultra Micro Electric Helicopter
This thing is a ton of fun! And it is tough too, I have crashed it dozens of times and it just keeps on going. It’s good to note that it come with an extra set set of main blades and tail just in case. I have hit walls and crashed from about 6 or 7 feet straight down and haven’t had an issue yet. Definitely buy more of the batteries, it states four minutes of flight time but i average about 6 minutes plus if you are not going to hard on the throttle. In the z mode it is super stable and helps you get your orientation down! I attached a link to a video i made shows you what it comes with and how it flies out of the box.

Blade Nano S2 BNF Ultra Micro Electric Helicopter
It’s a great Heli. Good for beginners and Intermediate pilots or those who simply won’t to work on their 3D skills indoors and out of the cold. The only issue I had was the initial battery connecter it came with was faulty . I swapped it with old nano connector I had around.

Blade Nano S2 BNF Ultra Micro Electric Helicopter
Picked up this Helicopter for my wife, to help her get better acquainted with collective pitch Helicopters. She had been flying little fixed pitch heli’s for about a year, and Had become bored with it. She had watched me fly my Blade 230 S V2, but was afraid to give it try, ( for which I am grateful ). Before I turned this little Nano S2 over to her, I thought it would be a good idea for me to fly it to see how it performed. The performance was well beyond my expectations. The stability mode made it so easy for her to fly, it was amazing. After a couple of flights, she was flying so well I could hardly believe my eyes. As for me, I am very impressed with the performance of this little bird. Stunt 1 mode is still very stable, but the collective is very lively, much like my 230 S V2. Stunt 2 mode was a real surprise. I had no idea that such a small package could deliver so much performance, you must fly it to fully appreciate just how well it fly’s. A quick little note - I bought the BNF and am using my DX6E radio to fly it. If you purchase the RTF, you will only have two flight modes available, where as, you will enjoy three flight modes if you go with the BNF. You can download the manual for the Nano S2 and get the details there. I highly recommend this Helicopter to anyone, experienced or not. I absolutely love flying it. One last thing, this little heli can really take a beating and continue flying. My wife has flown this bird into the wall numerous times and it continues to fly great. You need one of these Helicopters, seriously!
