This is the ready to fly Blade 120 SR. The Blade 120 SR is a fixed-pitch heli that will give you the confidence to master the basics of single-rotor flight. Its unique rotor head was specifically designed to provide the inherent stability of a co-axial helicopter, but provide the agile control of a single rotor helicopter. Modeled after the popular ultra micro-sized Blade mSR, the sub micro-sized 120 SR is larger, faster, and more powerful -- which makes outdoor flight a reality.

It comes out of the box 100% factory built and equipped with a factory-installed 5-in-1 control unit with Spektrum 2.4GHz DSM2 compatible receiver, main motor ESCs, mixer, gyro, and fully proportional servos. A ready-to-fly version with 2.4GHz DSM2 transmitter and a Bind-N-Fly version without transmitter, for those who already own a DSM2 aircraft transmitter, are available. Both include a 1S 500mAh Li-Po battery and a single-cell, Variable Rate Li-Po charger as well as an AC power supply.

Blade 120 SR RTF Electric Micro Helicopter w/2.4GHz Radio, Battery & Charger
Good heli to make the transition from co-axle to a 450 size class heli. Heres a TIP get a 2-3mm thick lexan sheet. Cut it out to the shape of the tail fin. Then shoo goo it on. That was my first part to break. the other was a landing skid. Get a set of blades, flybar, tail blade, skids and the carbon fiber tubes that hold the canopy on. If you loose your tail blade and bearing support dont worry about getting another bearing support. Just put the tail blade on without it. When flying in the wind 1-5 mph set it on beginner mode the 120 doesnt over react to corrections do to the wind. Dont take off in grass!!

Blade 120 SR RTF Electric Micro Helicopter w/2.4GHz Radio, Battery & Charger
a christmas miracle! after 6 months rain and snow my little blade sr 120 came out of the top of a 80' tree! and unbroken, missing a couple links, cleaned the water and dirt off, oiled it up. and everything seems to be functioning properly, totally crazy... and great gym flyer ! a testament to the blade quality!

Blade 120 SR RTF Electric Micro Helicopter w/2.4GHz Radio, Battery & Charger
I bought this heli as I have experience with the Blade CX2. I read a lot about this bird on many different forums and had a idea what to expect. She flies great! New pilots, not to worry, she is pretty durable, and responsive! The only drawback I found is the radio. I wish it were a little bit bigger to fit my hands better... oh well. Time to get the DX6i.

Blade 120 SR RTF Electric Micro Helicopter w/2.4GHz Radio, Battery & Charger
WOW. What a great experience. Granted I come from owning an mcx and an msr about 2 years ago. I have not had sim time nor have I flown in 2 years. I bought this to fly outdoors cheaply, and E-flight replacement parts are cheap and available. FYI YOU WILL NEED REPLACEMENT PARTS for a heli. Get over it. Buy them. It will fly in my small living room and fly's well in up to 5mph wind after that it will blow you around a little, but makes for a fun challenge. The tail motor does tend to go out; however, they are only $10 motors. This heli is more stable than the MSR. The remote is fail, but so are most RTR remotes. I do use the stock remote as the dx6i are on backorder. The stock remote gets you flying!

Minimum parts to buy (that will break nubs) if the local hobby shop isn't close or doesn't have crap (unlike me because I live near A Main :)
Battery X3 (at least - especially learning)
Tail boom X4 (trust me)
Tail motor X2
Landing skid X3
Tail motor bearing X3
Tail blade X2
Blades X1
Flybar X1

Obviously if your pro you don't need these things (except tail motors). If your a novice or stepping up from the MCX / MSR or your name is GRHAM. Buy the SR 120. 4 out of 5 cause tail motor is fail imo.
