Helped me break the ice with my 550x. The 230v2 very stable flying inverted backwards. Can't believe how solid tail is . Couldn't be happier with performance especially for the price.

This model flies almost perfect right out of the box. I am flying with the DX6 and I am using a little trim.
Based on previous helicopter experience, I used loctite on the feathering shaft to make sure I would not have a failure with the blade and grips. Flys great. Great product.

Blade 230 S V2 Bind-N-Fly Basic Electric Flybarless Helicopter
A dream heli to fly. Easy to setup with my DX7. Super stable in the air and seems like it can handle more wind than anything else of this size that I've flown. Haven't yet needed to use the SAFE function, but it's a great feeling knowing that it's there for when I do dumb thumb it. When he's ready, my son will be flying this one too. Of course, knowing my luck, I'll need to find another one so that I can at least keep some stick time.

Purchased two of these also recently. One has some strange surging and flybarless freak outs! It would be flying so stable and all at once it would just dart left or right. After a complete run through, and making sure the swash was level, etc., I figured I’d check in with Horizon on this one. My other 230s V2has no issues and flies perfect every time. It is my more “relaxed” 3D due to the low head speed & that is small enough for me to travel with and find a quiet spot to fly should I feel the immediate need.

The Blade 230 S V2 is a GREAT little helicopter capable of any maneuver any 90 size helicopter can do. The best thing is it doesn't need much space to do it in. You can fly it in a reasonably sized yard. It's small enough that you have to keep in in pretty close to see and comes with a safe mode. If you get in trouble, just press and hold the button on your radio (if you are high enough, and you don't need to be very high).
If you like helicopters and don't want to spend a lot of money to have a lot of fun, this is an excellent machine from beginner to expert.
