Definitely not a trainer or for beginners very cheap built easily damaged on the first flight the tail rotor flew off couple of flights later broke the tail boom I definitely do not recommend this for beginners it’s way too small and way to fragile

Great copter! Very fun for the price and very stable. Great buy. I would definitely recommend.

This is not a trainer or even a decent helicopter. Will not stay calibrated, won't hover, drifts everywhere.

Just a quick review of this heli. I am quite happy with it. Flew it twice the day I received it. I FLEW! Woohoo!

I received it very quickly and was updated quite nicely by e-mails letting me know the progress. I had it shipped via FedEx. Boom, that was quick.

Everything was packed very well. There is damage to the heli. But I can't figure out how it happened. There are four posts that the canopy attaches to. One of them was broke before I got it. Not a deal breaker. The canopy didn't rattle in flight.

The gamer style controller is different, but not to different. The sticks are a little short, maybe. It seemed to work just fine.

A little background here. I had been learning to fly heli's for about a year when I lost pretty much everything in a house fire. Here I am three to four years later trying to get back into it with this neat little trainer.

OK, the first flight. Luckily I remembered to just pop it up off the ground. Just a foot or so. Don't let the ground mess it up by throwing off the processor. Once in the air the heli was surprisingly easy to stabilize. Well relatively stable, remember it's been a while. But, it flew! I moved it around little and tried to keep it steady for the first battery. (I bought one spare battery) I was able to land back in the spot I took off from. Second battery went as well as the first. I moved it around a bit more. Flying the heli around a 4 to 5 foot circle while learning to maintain the height and keeping the tail pointed towards myself. The tail did wiggle a very little bit, but remained locked in the direction I told it. Rather aggressively actually. It would move slowly around but when I stopped the movement it snapped into place. Nice. I did these first flights in the gentle mode.

So, like I said, it flew! I am fairly happy. I can't give it 5 stars because of the asking price. I got it with a huge discount. Which I am grateful for. Wouldn't have bought it otherwise. And, the heli seems be to exactly what I wanted. And so far, it seems well made.

This is one actual issue I should bring up. Nowhere in the manual did I see the instructions for how to engage the Safe/recover button. I am guessing it's the red button under the tip of my right index finger while gripping the controller. Also, th instructions didn't tell me where to install the flight battery. Granted, it is kinda obvious. Although, if this was my first heli I might not have been able to figure it out.

This helicopter is junk. I bought it yesterday and flew it once. No problems and it flew good. Recharged the battery and went to fly again. Tail rotor had quit working. 5 minutes of flight time and that was it. Very very poor quality. Hobby Town will do nothing about it even though I only bought it yesterday. Horizon Hobby that made the helicopter told me it was up to Hobby Town to take care of since it was only a day old. At $149.99 I should have gotten more than 5 minutes use. It’s now a $150 paper weight.

First time flying a RC 'Copter. I like it. I broke the tail boom already on the first flight. The second, after replacing the boom, the tail rotor flew off after it struck the ground one too many times and I lost the teeny bearing that goes in the motor shaft.

This could / should be a much stronger model since it's designed for newbs like me. But it is what it is. It's going to take a minute for me to get the hang of the controls and I look forward to learning.

It is a Great beginner or intermediate Helicopter. I is easy to set up and fly... the only draw backs are low flight time 5 mins, and the range is fairly short, It is fun though. I doesn't take crashes well, should have an aluminum main frame. For the Price it is a Great Value.
