The V-Bar dash is a welded windshield extension that attaches the cage to the dash area behind the hood, rather than above the windshield like with standard cages. The extra support not only adds killer looks, but helps add a little more strength and rigidity in the front area. The v-bar is an added accessory, not available on most cages. This cage is also offered without the v-bar (BGR-WRLCGV2).
TIG (tungsten inert gas) welding is a versatile arc welding process that provides some of the cleanest, most precise and high quality welds possible. The process is relatively slow and requires a trained and experienced welder, but the end result is a superior, low-profile weld, clean of any splatter or snag.
KOH vs KOH LCG
Other than their looks, the KOH and KOH LCG designs differ in how that provide rear weight bias. With the KOH design, the rear tubes remain straight and the spare tire mounts completely rearward, even overhanging off the back. This design places the spare tire behind the rear axle. With the KOH LCG design, the rear tubes are bent and positioned lower, placing the spare tire more forward. This design places the spare tire directly over the rear axle.
