The Bachmann HO Scale Douglas Engine with Moving Eyes is a great option to add another engine to your Thomas and Friends collection. Bachmann has faithfully recreated Douglas down to the moving eyes. Built to HO scale, this engine is highly detailed and uses all metal wheels and international-style hook and loop couplers.
Douglas and his brother Donald (BAC58807) are twins. Sir Topham Hatt had only ordered one goods engine, but when both Donald and Douglas showed up he decided to keep them both. The two brothers would play jokes impersonating one another. They were fitted with nameplates to specifically end this element of their humor. Douglas is the #10 engine based on a Caledonian Railway 812 Class with a 0-6-0 wheel layout.
