The Axial SCX24 1967 Chevrolet C10 1/24 4WD RTR Scale Mini Crawler with 2.4GHz radio is hitting the scene ready for RC adventures. Despite being scaled down to a compact size, this mini crawler is ready for some big adventures. Get bored at work? Crawl this guy across your desk, we wont tell HR. That laundry you forgot to put away is now a mountain for your SCX24 to climb and conquer. Take this car outside, where its water-resistant electronics are safe from the elements, and make your own course from whatever sticks and rocks are in your yard or local park. The possibilities are endless with this mighty mini.

Full-time 4WD and a 3-link front/4-link rear suspension let you muscle over big challenges. Worm gears on the axles increase ground clearance, while realistic steel frame rails stand up to hard knocks. The Axial 1967 Chevrolet C10 performs like a winner and looks like one, too. The realistic body rides on Method MR307 hole wheels and BFGoodrich Krawler T/A KX tires. For quick battery access, just remove one clip to tilt back the body. Well..since none of the reviews are of the actual car...ignore them.

Car is great once you can find one...its supply and demand folks, too much supply means shops cant get them quick enough or they get sold out too fast.

Ordered mine on Feb 1st, got it march 11th (had the jeep so no big rush).

Wish i could upload pictures here, but a few differences between this and the white jeep (my other) is the jeep has larger wheels by maybe a half CM..does effect it when trying to climb over boulders (river rocks ~the size of the trucks). It also "bottoms" out a bit more then the Jeep did due to the frame and bumpers sticking out a bit more. Ended up trimming them a hair and preloading the shocks with zip ties (for now) to help alleviate that.

So Pros
1. Sickest looking body of them all.
2. Can climb up good sized rocks, add in some brass diff cover and knuckles and it helps a ton, bit of trimming and id say close to par with the jeep.

Cons.
1. Stock does not climb as well as the jeep, swapped tires and the trimming helped a TON
2. Prone to getting stuck on the frame (door side and front bummper), bit of trimming / removing the front bumper helps a lot. lights can be stuck in the old bumpers holes which are a perfect fit.
3. wheels even stock hit the frame on bumps/angles. Trimmed about 2-3Mm around the sides of the truck and that seems to help the most in this area.

If you just drive over some sticks/on foam courses that dont have same size rocks to roll over, you probably wouldnt need to do any of the trimming stuff...i like pushing them to their limits on the big rocks (what could be considered a 1/12 scale course or so) and thats what causes the frame to hit so often for me.

otherwise its a great truck but like them all...just gotta tweak it a bit to how you drive/where you drive.

Axial SCX24 1967 Chevrolet C10 1/24 4WD RTR Scale Mini Crawler (Silver)
All in all, a great little truck. I have had an Axial SCX10 II 2000 Jeep crawler for several years and wanted to give this little truck a try. It is cool looking and does pretty well out of the box. Due to its size it is light in weight and cannot 'crawl' like its big brother but that is to be expected. I have already modified my C10 with several aftermarket options: RC4WD rims and tires, brass steering knuckles and dif covers plus the stainless steel skid plate. From the weight perspective the brass items really help. I have also added some, not all, of the just released DSM bearing set bearings.

Something important - get a good battery charger which can not only charge at a lower rate but can balance charge as well. AMain has several. I use the same Venom Pro Duo that I use for my 1/10 Jeep. Another good choice would be the Spektrum Smart S150 LIPO Smart Charger (# SPMXC1070). Be sure to get the adapter (# SPMA3021)

If you are going to be crawling outside you might consider changing out the motor. There are plenty of videos on this subject. If you are just going to be using indoors, maybe not.

Whatever your desire is, be sure to purchase a GOOD 0.50" hex driver for those tiny little screws. The supplied allen wrench works but can be frustrating.

Would I recommend the SCX24- yes.

When in doubt, contact AMain via the Chat option. I have found them to be of a great help.

Definitely a fun truck. Had a problem w/ the charger right off the bat, but AMain addressed it & replaced it promptly. Enjoying the upgrades as they are delivered. Not disappointed at all.

What an awesome little truck! I've heard it isn't quite as capable as the jeeps out of the box, but it looks so much better. I'm extremely impressed with this tiny truck. Super fun out in the woods doing itty bitty hill climbs in the mud, or in the living room scaling over some books. I've even set up a few cardboard courses and it never ceases to amaze. Can't wait for all my LEDs (shout-out to Lit LED) and my brass and aluminum goodies to get here.
If you're on the fence, you should definitely grab one. You won't regret it.

I have two scx24's. They are awesome. But, I have had esc issues with both of them. Horizon hobby has a very good customer service, and, they have always taken care of any problems I have had. Amain is a top notch seller who I have had no issues with. I look forward to doing business with both horizon hobby and amain hobby in the future. Y'all have a badass day ?

Neat little truck that’s really effective on the trail. It’s great straight out of the box but it also has tons of upgrades and I went with Hot Racing and am not disappointed

I love this little truck. It's battery life so far is awesome. It's durable as hell and comes ready to drive right out of the box. I have two daughters 4 and 12 that play with it almost every day and we have had it over a week now. So now I have to buy 2 more im going to get bought of the other little ones. In all its a great buy.

This was a walk in buy, didn't plan on it but after looking around and thinking about it I went for it and I'm so glad I did. This thing is really cool in door rock crawler and been having a blast with it and it climbs really well. Worth it if your wanting a small fun rock crawler.

Only issue is the charger that it came with must have been a dud because it doesn’t seem to work (none of the lights light up) other than that everything else came fast and I’m satisfied with everything else.

Great little 1/24 scale crawler to begin your adventures with. Only thing wrong I've had was my own fault I cut fenders way to high but it's a great beginning crawler to explore the world of RC to see if your interested in building a great crawler with parts are cheap and easy to interchange

Axial SCX24 1967 Chevrolet C10 1/24 4WD RTR Scale Mini Crawler (Silver)
I really like these SCX24 crawlers. I have a Deadbolt version of this as well. Going through the modifications I found the deadbolt to be a bit more straight forward to newbies like myself. I ended up getting the same Injora beadlocker wheels for the C10 but found the body on the C10 really gets in the way and grabs the wheel a lot. I had to cut the body which I didn't need to on the Deadbolt...however, the C10 looks great especially when your crawling over stuff.

The one thing I think you have to purchase is the servo. The deadbolt version was bad, like in soft couch you just couldn't turn the wheels...the C10 I had a much worst time with it simply just stopped working on the first day periodically. Had to keep jarring the servo to get it working again. I had already purchased the servo and was planning on replacing it so no big deal, but for someone that didn't know that in getting these, that would be a real bummer waiting for the servo to arrive. So at the very least, get the servo when you order an SCX24. In fact, that would be a great service for AMain Hobbies to bundle that in a kit when a newbie purchases it or at least puts it as a recommended for the buyer. Now that I've been into these for a couple months that seems to be a very "known" thing that has to be replaced right away. Other than that, these are super fun, highly recommended.

Axial SCX24 1967 Chevrolet C10 1/24 4WD RTR Scale Mini Crawler (Silver)
Great Truck. I am having lots of fun and learning new driving skills,I have set up a small course in my living room and really enjoy trying different lines. I would have given five stars but the battery charger sucks...it works when it wants to. I am also disappointed with the advertising for the C-10 because I ordered the gray one because I am a big fan of the roll and light bar....I only found out that the Green one came with a roll and light bar after I watched a two year old unboxing video. If I new that in the first place I would have ordered the Green one...other than that I am really enjoying the SCX24..After having my C-10 for a bit now I have to give 5 stars. A-main customer service helped me out with a lead that works with my eco pro 44 charger and wow what an improvement. A-main Rocks. The Best and Only place for All your R/C and hobby needs. Thanks again guys.

Sure out the box it was fun for the 10mins it worked. Truck stopped driving I have steering. I’ve contacted warranty support they have now stopped answering me. Complete waste of money unless you like and endless money pit project this truck isn’t for you. The warranty is a joke I will never purchase another axial product again as well as going to avoid most horizon hobby products.

Holy guacamole!! This Axial SCX24 Micro Rock Crawler is a ridicules amount of fun. We haven't started modding it yet but for our backyard course we haven't needed too. Why? Because it has conquered everything with reason! Total blast. Charge times are great. Will buy another soon.

Axial SCX24 1967 Chevrolet C10 1/24 4WD RTR Scale Mini Crawler (Silver)
This tiny yet capable mini crawler is a blast to play with. I experienced some body rub straight out of the box but i fully intend to upgrade to make it more capable. As far as out of the box performance, it is great for what you pay. The servo is somewhat lacking in power and the motor could use some more power but it will definately crawl over things no problem out the box.

This truck is a ton of fun!!! Right out of the box the truck is capable to climb and crawl but part of the fun I’ve had is doing little things to the truck to improve its ability to handle more challenging obstacles. You won’t find a more affordable way to get into this scale crawlers and maintain the great quality of this hobby grade truck. I can’t believe the abuse this truck can handle and keep right in going!!!

The appearance of the truck definitely met my expectations and so did the performance. I recommend any of the Axial SCX24's for anybody who has interest in cars/rc cars
