The Art Hughes Designs Battery Mounting System for both Dynatron and TorqMaster starters provides a sleek, elegant, and sturdy way to mount your battery of choice to either of these two popular starters. Instead of hastilty strapping a LiPo to your starter, or it dangling beside you when you're starting your helicopter, the sturdy G-10 based platform doubles as a battery mount, and starter stand to ensure that your next nitro helicopter outing to the field is simple and easy!
Each mount incorporates a starter wand mounting location, as well as slots for a velcro strap to secure the battery to the G-10 platform.
NOTE: In order to install the Battery Platform, disassembly of the starter is required.

Art Hughes Designs Dynatron Battery Mounting Sytstem
For about 3 years, I have had this Art Hughes Designs battery mounting system for my Sullivan Dynatron. A portable solution that allows disconnecting the battery when safety is of the highest concern to you. Like when transporting your gear.
Its design is excellent, it is a complete system, and it does away with the 6 foot power cable of the starter.
Except for screwing in the corner acorn nuts, it was easy to assemble. The battery compartment height is high enough to allow, in my case, a 4S Li-Po. A 6S fits snug. Attach or solder on to your starter cable a suitable connector that matches your battery/batteries.
Note. There is a method for removing the aluminum starter cone without damaging your starter. I read that a leather glove and a reversed connection to a battery is the trick. That is, to remove the cone, the starter has to spin in the un-screwing direction. Hold the cone with gloved hand, blip the starter, and it un-screws. It did not injure my hand or wrist.
Take care in assembling this unit. Think out how you will do each step of the way.
