This is the Align T-REX 600E PRO DFC Super Combo Helicopter Kit. Equipped with Align’s 750MX 530KV motor, digital servos and DFC rotor head, the T-Rex 600E PRO DFC includes an awesome electronics package to deliver incredible 3D performance. The unbelievable flying performance and control feel of the T-Rex 600E PRO DFC, along with 750MX (530kV) motor, makes this helicopter a premier choice in the 600 class electric market.

Equipped with the low CG DFC rotor head for reduced wind resistance, plastic integrated 2mm thick carbon fiber plate for strength, and Align's unique battery latch assembly for stronger and easier battery replacement, the 600E PRO DFC has the features pilots are looking for. A fresh power upgrade bumps the power output by 30% by swapping out the 600MX motor (3300w/5500w) to the 750MX/530KV motor (4400w/7260w). This provides a dramatic torque increase, and near bulletproof governing speed of the rotor, while maintaining consistent power throughout the entire flight duration. In addition, the spindle shaft has been increased to 8mm with over sized 5x10mm spindle screws to increase the rigidity of the overall rotor head. When combined with the Gpro flybarless system, the 600E PRO DFC is pure perfection.

Gpro
Align's multifunctional Gpro flybarless system with active CPU, processes 20 times faster than the previous generation. The updated software structure improves system compensation with precise and agile response, and can be updated as changes are released. The most important feature is that Gpro utilizes the latest iOS and Android app's to allow easily and direct adjustment through a mobile phone! A human oriented interface rounds out the package to allow convenient and rapid setup and installation.

Features:

  • 600E PRO DFC
    • Equipped with the low CG DFC rotor head, to reduce wind resistance during flight and provide the most direct and precise control feel to the pilot.
    • 600E PRO Performance Booster designed specifically to bump up the power output of T-Rex 600E PRO by 30% by upgrading the motor from 600MX motor (3300w/5500w) to 750MX/530KV motor (4400w/7260w).
    • Equipped with high strength CNC M1/118T helical main gear and tail drive bevel gear assembly, featuring reinforced gear structure and increased gear thickness, helping to prevent the gear from deforming under extreme power, reducing gear wear and power loss.

Align T-REX 600E PRO DFC Super Combo Helicopter Kit
This is a great machine for intermediate to expert level heli pilots. It fly's like it's on rails and it has tremendous power. However, a couple things to look out for that I have experienced. First the one way bearing tends to give out too quickly, by that I mean (again in my experience) in just a couple flights, repeatedly. I have decided to go with LYNX one way bearing that is supposedly made for the fix on this issue-more to follow, have not flown it yet with this bearing. Secondly, the all elusive forward torque tube gears. It's been an issue, many people experience tail blow outs, including me. However it isn't as much a flawed design as it is a poor installation of the bearings around the gear. They require an exorbitant amount of pressure to install and you will get a final "pop" once they are in properly. In short, if the gears are AT ALL rubbing where they feel any resistance push harder, even a little uneven feel when turning the gears will ultimately end up in grinding the gears smooth OR will oval the gears causing uneven rotation and poor performance. They should feel even and free with hand rotation. Otherwise it is a really nice machine. Enjoy!
