This is the Align T-REX 450 Plus DFC "Ready to Fly" Super Combo Helicopter, with an included 3GX MRS flybarless system. The T-REX 450 Plus DFC is an ideal choice for entry level helicopter enthusiasts! This fully assembled helicopter features high quality Align electronics and allows you to get the machine airborne faster than ever before by eliminating assembly and a majority of the setup process. The only equipment that is required to complete the setup is a pitch gauge and a swashplate leveler. Once those minor setup processes are complete, simply charge and install the included 3S battery and transmitter batteries, and you're ready to fly!
The helicopter features the renown DFC rotor head assembly, paired with the 3GX MRS flybarless system and DS416M digital cyclic servos. These parts have been chosen to suit the T-REX 450 PLUS flight characteristics, and deliver optimum stability for pilots of all levels. But, that doesn't mean that the 3GX MRS lacks adjustability! Enthusiasts that want to fine tune the 3GX MRS even further can do so by following a few simple steps. The 3GX MRS has a FHSS/DSM2/DSMX 2.4GHz receiver built in, providing a space saving two-in-one package! Combine this electronics package with the RCE-BL35P ESC and 450MX 3500kV motor, and you get a quality 450 class machine with high end electronics that a new pilot can grow with, but can be tuned to suit a 3D master.

Align T-Rex 450 Plus DFC RTF Helicopter
Fantastic looking heli! After reading forums and researching cost of parts i decided on the Align. To keep the cost down there are a few plastic parts but they are very durable
The chopper is also quite easy to wrench on .
As a newbie to 450 size heli's i wanted something that could be easly upgraded (and cheaply) as my skills improve and so this was the heli for me.

Align T-Rex 450 Plus DFC RTF Helicopter
After looking at a few other helicopters at my local club and fighting with this one, I can't say I'd recommend this product.
Mechanically, the helicopter is basically decent. The servos used are plastic-geared and strip out VERY easily. The included battery strap was BARELY long enough to wrap around the included battery. Suffice it to say, it wasn't big enough to install as recommended (or at all for that matter).
The cover design is not good. Mine came split in two on the bottom and I had to repair it right out of the box. Then, there isn't enough room inside to install the battery as recommended. I had to reroute the battery wires and install the included battery wires-up in order to get it to fit.
The instruction manual (downloadable from Align's website) is confusing and tries to cover various configurations / models / options without really telling you which one it's covering and when. You'll rely more upon YouTube than the manual if you don't already have experience with helicopters.

Align T-Rex 450 Plus DFC RTF Helicopter
Good looking helicopter easy to use system charger and fly basically. But I most of got the bad one it was cursed. I thought trex is top dog in rc helies this is going to be great helie. I had a servo go out first few weeks, also motor would shut off a lot in flight esc finally stopped working altogether, then tail belt broke. I just had some bad luck with this heli. I should of sent it back but sold it insted
