Align Hexagon Screw Driver (1.3mm)
I had borrowed an MIP Thorp 1.3mm hex driver from a friend to use on the tail of my Trex 450L. It fit perfectly with no play when turned in the hex screw. I needed to buy one and this Align tool caught my attention. Align, and half the price of the MIP tool. Looked good to me. I debated and finally decided that the worst case would be that it wouldn't hold up in use as long. There are only a few 1.3mm hex screws in my fleet of helis so it won't get that much use.
Well, this tool is tiny. Really tiny. 3 inches from tip to end of handle. That alone isn't a deal breaker. Hex screws that small won't require very much force to tighten. But, the tool tip is marginally smaller than the 1.3 mm hex screw hole. It turns a little bit in the hole before it contacts the facets, enough that experience tells me it will ultimately be a problem. It is undersized for all the 1.3 mm hex screws in both my 450Ls. I checked all of them. So it's not a specific oversized/damaged screw.
This is the last time I'll make this mistake. I'll buy an MIP Thorp to replace it and I also need a new 1.5mm hex driver. I'll buy the best this time. Again I learned that inexpensive often ends up costing more.

Align Hexagon Screw Driver (1.3mm)
Very good quality specially for its price. It is little but that has never been an issue for me.

Align Hexagon Screw Driver (1.3mm)
Wrench is fine however a better description would've been nice instead of find out it only about 3" long tip to top handle. Go with the MIP Thorpe wrenches.
