I don’t think Align is a quality brand anymore. Disappointing enough with the 500X tail speed being way too low making it a blow out fest. But their machining is terribly prone to stripping. Old swash plate stripped out when I was retightening after it came loose. Waited for months for them to restock, only to receive the replacement and it almost rounded out the hex inside the ball because one ball was machined too small and my MIP driver wouldn’t go in fully. Also, the threads for the shorter balls on one of the four sides were too small. Almost messed up the threads. thankfully swapped the 9.77mm balls around and I guess one was machined a hair small because I was able to get it in. I’m just glad I was able to get it together. This was after having a battery tray clip break off and lead to a catastrophic crash. Amain wouldn’t do anything on that one, the guy just ended up telling me that’s how it is and to be grateful cus he’s had defective items crash much more expensive helicopters and my >$100 crash was nothing. Not kidding, I’d shop else where if you could afford the shipping. Sad because Align used to be THE brand. Now I’d buy XLP or SAB. I’m selling my 500X and never looking back.
