This is a pair of two AKA Racing Vektor 2.2 Front 2WD Buggy Tires. These tires do not include foam inserts. The VEKTOR tire features a low profile tread design which is ideal for hard packed indoor and outdoor tracks. The directional tire design allows you to choose between mild or aggressive handling characteristics depending on which way you run the tire. The carcass design, lug size and lug spacing have been designed to provide a good balance between tire wear vs. traction, delivering a great value to the racer.

Features:

  • Tread Performance: Each tire tread is computer designed and track tested by AKA engineers Gil Losi, Mark Pavidis and team drivers to ensure the best performance before each tire goes into production.
  • Lifespan: The long life of the AKA tires is due to the collective decades of rubber compound development Gil Losi brings to the table. In fact, Mark and Gil have been responsible for developing some of the most successful tires in off-road racing for a generation. Each compound is tested in labs then rigorously track tested to ensure the highest quality.
  • Balance: Like AKA inserts and wheels, tire balance is critical to superior performance and it's a priority in AKA tires. Mold components are manufactured to the highest tolerances, ensuring the best possible alignment of all the mold components. This results in a tire with more uniform thickness for the best possible balance.

AKA Vektor 2.2" Front 2WD Buggy Tires (2) (Super Soft)
I figured I would try these just to try something different and honestly I think these these tires are just as good if not better than the JConcepts bar codes. Bottom line is that I really like these tires on my AE B4.1 worlds buggy, running on a low to medium traction clay track. Two thumbs up for me.
