Airtronics MX-Sport FHSS-2 2.4 GHz Radio w/92524 3-Channel Receiver
The transmitter that came with my Associated B4.1 RTR went up in smoke,TWICE.Me having a pretty short fuse decided to go with a radio that I knew who made it. This puppy is light enough for those long a-mains yet has the heft indicating a well built radio. With the lcd screen you know exactly what you are doing to what setting. It seems to be a higher dollar radio for a budget price but the quality is by no means "budget"!! If you are looking for a quality 2.4 radio this is it.It has a longer range so that I still have control of my buggy but I can just barely see it.This radio ROCKS and I've been in the hobby for almost 30 years.

Airtronics MX-Sport FHSS-2 2.4 GHz Radio w/92524 3-Channel Receiver
I got this radio today, and compared to my Spectrum DX3e this blows it out of the park! Although it is heavier than the Spectrum (Due to the 4 extra AA's) all of the different features make up for it. This is high quality 2.4 ghz for the money!

Airtronics MX-Sport FHSS-2 2.4 GHz Radio w/92524 3-Channel Receiver
Twenty-five years ago, when I was last in the RC scene, I had an XL2P, which I loved, and had zero problems with it, which is why I got an Airtronics radio this time around. I've had this radio since Sept '12 and it has been descent until recently. My power switch has a loose connection, I think, because a few times now I've turned the power on but the power doesn't actually come on until I jiggle the transmitter in my hand semi-violently. Furthermore, I have been setting up my ESC and the transmitter suddenly shuts off and I have to jiggle the thing again for it to turn on... Also, I've noticed that my amps have recently become unstable jumping from 9.5 to 9.1 to 9.7 to 9.3 and back to 9.5 in as quick a time as it took you to read this... Conclusion - This radio is not worth what I paid for it. It seems really light and flimsy and I feel I should've shelled out the extra 50 to 100 bucks for the next model up. That's what cutting corners gets me, though...

Airtronics MX-Sport FHSS-2 2.4 GHz Radio w/92524 3-Channel Receiver
I'm pleased with this radio and receiver. The 3-channel receiver is tiny and very light. The radio is fully functional and provides many options. I picked up the charging adapter and use NIMH batteries. I recommend everyone does that. Some may find the steering is a little springy and it takes time to 'feel' the car. I would recommend this to everyone on a budget.
