NOTE: The Airtronics MT-4S Super has been replaced by the Sanwa MT-4S Super (SNW101A31573A). These two transmitters are identical in feature, form and function. There may be differences in the included accessories, but the transmitter is the same.  

This is the Airtronics MT-4S Super 2.4GHz Computer Radio System with SSL and Telemetry. The MT-4S builds on the original MT-4 by adding Sanwa Synchronized Link support, increased response time (same as the M12), a backlit LCD, RX-472 Super Response receiver and updated steering wheel and graphics.

Telemetry Note: Telemetry Capable Airtronics receiver required (RX-461 or RX-462) for full Telemetry capability.

Servo and/or ESC Note: Airtronics recommends using digital servos and ESCs that support a high frame rate whenever possible. Due to the extremely high frame rate of the MT-4S transmitter and RX-472 Super Response receiver, analog servos and many ESCs may not be compatible when used in SHR or SSR servo operating mode. To prevent compatibility issues, use analog servos only in NOR servo operating mode. If your ESC does not work in SHR servo operating mode, use NOR servo operating mode. Any brand and type of digital servo can be used in NOR or SHR servo operating mode. Only Airtronics/Sanwa SRG series digital servos are compatible for use with SSR servo operating mode.

Airtronics MT-4S Super 2.4GHz Computer Radio System w/RX-472 Receiver
Coming from a Futaba 4PL, I can noticeable see the difference. Lately I have been taking my car to the track and I felt I needed a consistent and quicker responding radio to round out my electronics package. Have a excellent ESC and fast servo. So as a test I ran back to back with no car setup changes besides the radio systems. Result was completely different feel of the car with lower latency. It was exactly what I wanted, and performance is as expected. More precise control. I didn't do any setup besides the end point adjustments (EPA) it felt good in the hand, trigger angle and pressure. I like the M12, but don't like the bulk. This is an improvement over the MT4 with backlight, and apparently it is close in speed of the top of the line M12. Only shortcoming I've found is the LIFE batteries that fit are costly. But even with some NiMH batteries I had lying around the transmitter, could not re-use my 4PL Protek LIFE pack, the transmitter felt light. Perfect score Sanwa/Airtronics 5/5

Switched from a 3PL and LOL... now the servo is slower than i thought....easy to set up...excellent adjustments for spring all the perks of the step above.....excellent buy....

Airtronics MT-4S Super 2.4GHz Computer Radio System w/RX-472 Receiver
This is a great little radio if you are wanting to step up. I have owned a M12 and i loved it. But in reality, it had way too many functions that will never be used. The MT-4 i didnt even miss any functionality from the m12. I think i also prefer the smaller radio of the mt4 vs the m12 also. Great radio!
