This is the Yokomo B-MAX4 III 1/10 Scale Competition 4WD Buggy Kit. At the 2013 iFMAR World Championship and at the JMRCA All Japan Championships, the B-MAX4 III showed off runs full of charm and amazing potential. The redesigned drive system and layout now feature gear differentials with beveled gears in the front and rear to make easy management of any high-powered brushless system with the triple plate slipper clutch. Big bore "X" shocks on all the four corners soak up the bumps and jumps while the lightweight cab forward body keeps the buggy styling and at top performance.

Yokomo B-MAX4 III 1/10 Competition 4WD Buggy Kit
I like the new YOKOMO. the drive train is the freeist off all the 4wd I've worked on. The car turns like crazy. Only problems is a-arms are very hard and break and the inner hinge pins are junk (not a problem if you don't hit the wall) I'm going to get some 3mm drill rod to fix this problem. The car jumps awesome and flat. Running a VIPER system with a 7.5 and a 6.5 / 18 to 22 pinion with stock spur gear. Setup on the shocks 1.5 / 2 hole frt and back with 35# f and 30# r. 7000 frt diff / 3000 rear diff and no sway bar. 19-20 mm ride height. Because this car is so new and A-Main is the US carrier, parts can be some what of a challenge to get. I have also ordered from YOKOMO eu. they had parts to me in 3 days, I was amazed. Looking for something different and super e-z to work on try a YOKOMO B-Max 4 lll

Love this buggy so much it feels like it's on rails when you drive it easy to work on great for high traction carpet at my local track it's rather the yokomo bmax4 iii or the xray xb4 15
I chose the bmax4

Yokomo B-MAX4 III 1/10 Competition 4WD Buggy Kit
Love this buggy! The build was easy, instructions were sufficient though wished they explained more on certain settings e.g. moving shocks to the front/rear position

Jumps easy, have not broken anything except a rear ball stud but I'm running a 6.5t motor. Handles great. Would recommend it if your LHS stocks it + parts.

Just remembered, make an order for some 4mm front towers as the 3mm will delaminate in time even after applying CA on the edges.

Yokomo B-MAX4 III 1/10 Competition 4WD Buggy Kit
Great car , easy to work on and easy to drive kit went together good and is high end. Car does have some problems as all will. Stock arms are very hard and dont last in the cold, front stock shock tower is weak but easy to fix as after market ones are made. Bad side of kit parts are hard to get local for me in Michigan good side parts are low cost so just buy them and have extra on hand if needed . As with any 1/10 buggy they are glass boxes on wheels so just be ready for arms to break if you wreaked bad. I would say once you replace the arms and shock towers its good to go kit . In the end I would buy again for sure !
