Traxxas GTR Long Hard Anodized Shocks w/Ti-Nitride Shafts (2)
I just put a set of these in long and x-long on my Stampede 4x4, man they are awesome! Terrific build quality and adjust-ability. They are a direct fit for the Slash 4x4 and Stampede 4x4, but I did have use TRA2583 3x18mm bolts instead of the TRA3642X shoulder screws to attach the top of the shock. I am so glad I skipped over the Traxxas BB and got these!

These should be labelled for the front shocks, Slash 4x4 and Rally (1/10 versions).

These are really nice for the price when compared to buying something similar like Pro-Line. I used these on the front for my 2WD Traxxas Slash. They are a direct bolt on, but you will need to use the stock shock pivot ball cups. The ball cups that come with these are too wide for the A-arms. The best thing about them is that you can use any 13mm spring, versus being stuck with Pro-Line springs, which are hard to tune for a track. I used Team Associated B6.4 13mm front springs and 30wt oil.

Traxxas GTR Long Hard Anodized Shocks w/Ti-Nitride Shafts (2)
These are a great addition to the rustler 4x4, only problem is went to go through a ditch and get a little air from the other side, well ended tapping the throttle to early and it took a nose dive into the ditch. Was not a violent hit or fast run up. So after noticing the rustler was steering a lil off, had to find the spring due to the shock shaft braking off just inside the shock rod end. So bought new shafts and waiting on my order of the GTR repair kit #tra8455 that is the only gtr repair kit with the screw hole for the rod end to the shock retainer. I thought the shock rods were supposed to be better that the BIG BORE and Ultimate shock as I have never had a shock rod brake from any of those just a bend at the most and they are cheaper. Like I said they are great shocks especially with the speed pinion. Corners better even in high speed cornersi Only reason I didnt give it 5 ?s is from the frustration of not being able to get the shaft piece that was left in the rod end due to it breaking below the hole. If it had broke just above the hole I could have just changed the shaft.

These shocks are great. Wish the springs were a little longer. You got a dud if one these breaks at 10 mph.

Suposed to be the best according to many ppl. Not even 5 min of use and didn't even get to make a jump. Hit a peice of wood at about 10mph and it broke the shaft.
