This is an optional black Tekin RX8 Gen2 Case. Package includes upper and lower case halves, as well as replacement hardware.
Note: The case holes are not pre-threaded and require you to slowly thread in the screws to tap the holes.

Tekin RX8 Gen2 Case (Black)
Fits great! Worth the hassle. If you can take out the old case and install the new one without any solder/de-solder work that would be great. I had to take out my wires because the solder joints area were a bit thick for the case to come off.
I like the Black more than the White. As soon as I google image on the Rx8 Gen2 and saw this black one I bought it without hesitation.
Really easy to install. 4 Screws (note the 2 short and 2 long ones where they should be). Just be careful when pulling out the esc boards and electronic parts from the old case, don't force it....wiggle a little if the ends of the board get a little stuck with the old case while trying to pull it out. Otherwise, you might snap something.
This is best to replace if no soldering was done on the wires , example, when the ESC is brand new.
to be Honest, another reason why I bought this was I melted a tiny tiny bit of the plastic (white old case) when I was doing soldering on the wires. hehehe. Yes I am a perfectionist !
