Kirk Kowalski, son of BMiller Racing’s Trent Hanson, just recently joined in the fun of RC Racing. Taking part in his first-ever full points series, Kowalski took home the victory in the sportsman division of the five-race Race Em RC Off-Road Series in Rockford, IL.
Kowalski posted three top three finishes, including a win in Round 4, en route to winning the title with his Traxxas Slash 4wd.
Hanson also enjoyed a successful series, placing third in both 2wd Stock SCT and 4wd SCT. He won Round 5 in 2wd SCT to get on the podium and registered top three’s in Pro 4 in each of the four rounds he took part in.
Both Kowalski and Hanson were powered by ProTek R/C lipo batteries from A Main Hobbies throughout the series.
