Team A Main Hobbies Reports On The All New ProTek RC High Voltage Servos

October 10th, 2012

“I’m always nervous about changing my gear but the ProTek servos immediately put my mind at ease. A quick bench comparison to what I was previously using proved that ProTek had gotten this right! When I put them to use I was simply blown away. Nearly a year of real world on track testing without a single failure. Need I say more?” Marty Korn

“The new ProTek RC servos are great! Easily one of the best servo brands I’ve used. ProTek servos give you the steering and torque you need in a plastic or aluminum case. The coreless motor and dual ball bearing system makes for a very smooth servo as well. If you are in the need of a servo, I would highly recommend ProTek RC. ” Eric Albano

“I have raced for many radio and electronics companies in my R/C racing career and the new ProTek servos are definitely the best I have used! These servos not only look great but perform even better. The speed and power of these servos are awesome. Not only do they perform well but they also are very kind to the wallet, which is something the consumer is always looking for this day and age. If you look in any of my cars, being 10th scale or 8th scale, you will only see ProTek servos!” Barry Baker

“The reliability of the ProTek servos has been amazing.  I’ve been using them in the harsh conditions of 1/8th scale buggy and truggy for nine months without a single problem.  This is the longest I have ever gone without a servo failure.  They’re surprisingly smooth while still being some of the fastest servos on the market.  There’s absolutely no shortage of torque – even in heavy-duty applications such as 1/8th scale truggy.  The gunmetal grey aluminum case of the PTK-150 series looks great in any car.  While lightweight PTK-130 series is perfect for any 1/10th scale buggy or short course, there is also a budget-friendly option that is more than capable of the demands of 1/8th scale racing.” Curtis Door”

“I got the opportunity to do testing with the new Protek servos early this year. I used them all year in my truck with no failures what so ever, and the speed and torque of the PTK-150T was more than enough power for the demands of 1/8 trucks and buggies. I used the PTK-150S in the steering of my 1/10 4wd Short Course truck and the other in a 1/10 buggy, and I am happy to say that I had no failures as well. The PTK-150S&T comes in a hard anodized gun metal case and a blue anodized aluminum servo horn comes with the servos as well. Protek R/C offers these same servos in a plastic case as well (PTK-130S and PTK-130T) and the blue aluminum servo horn comes with these as well. I race at the highest level of competition and only the best equipment will do, I can say that you will not be disappointed with the performance of the new Protek Servos!” Chad Bradley

“The new servos added to the ProTek line are very high quality. They are very responsive, fast and durable. The all aluminum cases are a nice touch compared to the standard plastic servos in other brands since the ears cant be broken off.  With these servos you don’t have to worry about another servo related failure. They are lipo ready, so you dont need a regulator and can get rid of the outdated NiMh packs. I trust these servos.” Austin Blair

Wow, very good comments for those Pro Tek Servos, seems like they are reliable and very effective when you speek about RC Hobbies.

I’m really interested in RC Helicopters and Airplanes, these toys really make my day; I’ve had the opportunity to build some and I’m always looking for new gears to my toys, I think I will order some Pro Tek for my own projects.
