Checking in from day one, practice day, at the 2012 Neo race. Drivers in Heat 1 are just now getting their first laps on the track, the A Main drivers are up in a few hours, Heats 9-15. Promoter and coordinator, Phillip Morstedt, confirms 235 drivers are in attendance from all over the world and the pit area is bustling as they unpack and catch up with each other.
As Aaron reported yesterday, the track is unique and the drivers are anxiously awaiting their share of the controlled practice. We’ll do our best to keep you up to date on the progress and story lines as the race kicks off.
