The A Main Hobbies – ProTek R/C racing team will be heading to the Southern Nevada desert for this weekend’s 15th Annual Silver State Nitro Challenge at Boulder City R/C Raceway. Known just as much for its unpredictable weather and rough track conditions as its proximity to Las Vegas, the Silver State Nitro Challenge often attracts a large international contingent that makes winning this event a big, big deal.
The team will be posting straight from the track all weekend long, so stay tuned for news and incessant complaining about the weather. Tomorrow will be a travel day for most racers and teams, ahead of Thursday’s two rounds of practice. If you’re driving to the event or happen to be anywhere between Los Angeles and Las Vegas, keep an eye out for the new A Main Hobbies pit trailer!

Brian, our flight team will be at the New England Heli Crew’s Phenom event the weekend of September 14-16. Is that what you meant?
