This car is awesome. I have a dirt oval track in my backyard and this car is so much fun to drive. Highly recommend this RC. Very impressed on the handling of this car. Thinking of getting another one.

I car is well built and everything fits perfect. The only negative comment is that all the bodies are painted the same. In any other past kits AE would allow you to paint your own body/shell.

A great platform to start oval racing with and anyone that raced rc10's back in the day like myself took me back to my roots of racing. Stock tires work great on crc black carpet just clean with contact clean each run.

I will be racing this car at our local track. I have used one before so its a great car with after market tires/wheels. Threw my A-main stickers on it and ready to go. Hopefully soon gonna get a A-Main banner to fly at our track to go with the rest. We usually get close to 50 cars every Sunday and growing rapidly.

So I bought 3 of these to run on my backyard track.
Was impressed out of the box . Just raised the body one hole . Shocks were only half full, had one A arm pin sliding out .

If you leave the stock gears the stock tries are fair. If you get a larger pinion, it will require better tires.

Absolutely great car for a beginner.

I don't have a dirt oval to test on, this review is for using it as a 2WD street car.

I couldn't find many rear wheel drive road cars that weren't drift cars, so gave this a go. Really good car, very similar to the parts for the Pro2 SC10 and Trophy Rat. I dig the way it looks driving on the street and asphalt track. I found the stock pinion to be a little small, put in a 22 and it seems to like it fine. Tons of space to chuck a fan on the motor if you need it. I'm continuously impressed by the handling of these TA RTRs.

I don't really see these as negatives, just FYI to others: Seems to need a fairly well groomed off road surface to run in the dirt, guessing it's genuinely meant for a track. The body was mounted very low on mine and rubbed a lot, moved front and rear up 2 spots on the post. Doesn't look as cool anymore, but barely rubs. The Jconcepts Camaro body that states it's a "direct fit" for the SR10 appears to require body posts from a discontinued TA Stadium truck to mount as shown (I think). Looks like it'll mount fine with SR10 post positions, just can't use the post locations shown in the images for the body.

Out the box it can drive a well packed dirty oval. Needs better tires like all RC, yet it puts a smile on my face.

Team Associated SR10 RTR Brushless Dirt Oval Car
I got my Team Associated SR10 after seeing it on the AMain Hobbies YouTube channel just like I also saw the Team Associated DR10.
They are almost exactly the same as most of their parts are exactly the same with only a few differences between them.
After seeing how the wheels can rub on the body I raised it up slightly and the wheels still rub on the body but some shock limiters to restrict their full movement will prevent that.
It handles really well on road as I where I live there is not too many places to use it except on the sort of busy road I live on.
I have to wait for the traffic lights to stop the cars and watch out for them coming. I then chase them down the road usually catching up to them most times but around midnight is when I get out all my cars and have a little fun.
Now when I need parts for my DR10 I usually get 2 of what I need as so many are used in the SR10. When comparing their parts lists they are exactly the same ones used on both with 95% being used for them. The only differences are chassis size, bumpers, wheels and no wheelie bar for the SR10. But with a little parts swapping and wheels you could make the SR10 into a stubby Drag Car for a fun experiment. I might try it out one day just to see how it works out and the other way around with the DR10 as an Oval Racer as well.
Now as I think about doing it I might end up getting both again and keep them that way.

Your employee was very nice and took time to help me out , I explained to him I was brand new to this , but he seemed to be in such a hurry that I didn’t feel I got his full attention. It seemed that every employee working needed some kind of help from him . I do not remember his name ,

I own an rc track. Just put the word out to my racers that we are going to start racing the SR10. Already have 21 cars and not had a race yet. Going to run them as a spec class. The only problem so far is they all look the same. Need different colors. Needs better foam in the tires of better tires. Cars don’t hookup or handle on a dry slick track. Oh yeah we race on a clay oval bullring. My group has spent thousand of dollar at A Main over the years and I have got nothing from A Main. I take that back. Once in awhile get amain stickers. By the way I currently have 83 racers on a semi private track. The track had been operational for 11 years. We race sprint sc mods sc stock cars and now starting the smaller cars.
