The Team Associated RC8 B3e Team Kit combines RC8B3 nitro buggy performance engineering with a chassis designed specifically for brushless power. Using a unique, proprietary hard-anodized 7075-T6 aluminum chassis designed for optimum weight distribution and superior handling, the RC8B3e drives like a champ.

Cross-class chassis compatibility
Knowing that racers would be competing in both 1:8 nitro and electric at the same events, the RC8B3e was designed to handle and respond to changes just like the RC8B3. Team Associated RC8 B3e Team 4WD 1/8 Electric Buggy Kit
Decided to try Associated again after switching to Tekno and then Kyosho, both of witch I really liked but never really had alot of good results with so back to Associated, all I can say about this car is it awsome it has great steering into the turns, and is hooked up coming out of the turns,it jumps great, and lands great, and is great on a bumpy track. It went straight from the work bench to the track for its first race, and I took the TQ and the A-Main win on its first day at the track maybe it was just luck, but man this thing just works.

Build went together horribly. Missing parts from the kit. Took me a while to get ahold of the missing parts since they were back ordered. Once the car was built, the shocks were terrible and the front shock shafts would pull out of the shock eyelet. Don't buy this product. Get a Mugen MBX7R ECO or a TLR Eight 4.0

Team Associated RC8 B3e Team 4WD 1/8 Electric Buggy Kit
I've owned this buggy for a lil over a year now and i've been quite satisfied with it. Now being as this was my first high end buggy i have gone through some parts as i've learned how to drive it. And fyi, the v2 diffs are not necessary. The only upgrade i would recommend are the vrp gamechanger pistons. Also when assembling the shocks be careful not to thread the rod ends on past the last thread, leave one thread showing. You'll pop ends off constantly if you dont, i learned the hard way. I guess another good upgrade would be the m2c "A" block. Anyhow good solid buggy. Buy it, you wont be dissapointed!

I bought and assembled the kit to the instruction manual and within 3 batteries have the fwd diffrental gears burnout would suggest ordering the v2 diff upgrade at the same time as the kit if you are going to be doing any competive racing. Other than that the chassis is a great platform.
