Tamiya DT-03: Extreme Performance Buggy
The Tamiya Neo Fighter DT-03 1/10 2WD Off Road Buggy Kit was inspired by the classic "The Frog" from the 80s. At home both on and off-road, this 2WD buggy features a lightweight yet tough monocoque frame that protects vital equipment such as the servo and battery from damage, as well as offering great stability. With friction shocks and 4-wheel double wishbone suspension, the Neo Fighter Buggy performs well even on rough off-road surfaces. With this balance of features and performance, this is a great option for drivers and collectors alike.
About The Neo Fighter
Clear Body
The Neo Fighter comes with a clear buggy style body that features smooth, sharp lines. The rear wing is made from a durable molded material and allows for great downforce leading to more rear traction. Being clear, this body is ready to receive your custom paint scheme!
Performance DT-03 Chassis
The slim form of the DT-03 chassis stems from the lightweight yet durable monocoque frame, which features a longitudinally-positioned battery and radio equipment along the centerline for excellent balance. The combination of a long 287mm wheelbase and 4-wheel double wishbone suspension married to long arms, allows the model to handle with stability on poor surfaces. Ribbed front and square spike rear tires provide ample grip, and the rear-positioned gearbox is sealed to protect from dust and dirt, with the built-in differential gear offering smooth cornering.

This chassis Kit includes both a torque tuned brushed motor and Hobbywing 1060 ESC. these components combine to deliver a performance enhanced on-road racing experience. The compact ESC boasts extreme performance, complemented by a built-in capacitor module for efficient power delivery. With exceptional current endurance capability, easily configurable parameters using ESC jumpers, and automatic throttle range calibration for user-friendly setup, the Quicrun 1060 stands out. Its impressive built-in BEC output capacity, built-in capacitor, and IP-67 waterproof rating further elevate its reliability, making it a top-tier choice for enthusiasts seeking optimal performance in their RC adventures. I've broken the chassis while it was very cold out which is to be expected for an ABS construction. But in the summer I can't break it. Jumps, flips, lending the car out to newbies, it takes it all. The car is a tank.
I have a powerful brushless system in it and it takes the power like a champ. With enough traction it'll pull wheelies and understeer like a pig as well as rolling sideways, so it's better for low traction. Rear wheel drive means you can slide it around and it holds drifts very well. It holds onto asphalt quite well, and handles great on dirt.
Rear springs are a bit soft so it's low to the ground, and I installed ball bearings aftermarket. I absolutely can't recommend ball bearings enough.
