This is a pack of two optional RPM Front A-Arms, intended for use with the Team Associated B44, B44.1, B44.2 and B44.3 4WD Buggies. When designing the a-arms for the race bred B44 chassis, RPM's first objective was to improve strength and durability without sacrificing rigidity. These design changes still retain the stock suspension geometry yet have been improved structurally to eliminate potential breakage points. RPM also eliminated slop at the hinge pins and caster blocks. The arms included with RPM's box-stock B44.2FT came with hinge pin holes with .005” (.13mm) of clearance in each hinge pin hole! That’s a total of .01” (.26mm) of slop (inside and outside hinge pins combined) before the vehicle ever ran! By tightening up these “loose” areas with RPM A-arms, the B44’s camber, caster and toe angles are locked in place while improving suspension performance and consistency at the same time.

RPM also found that the stock anti-sway bar pivot balls molded in the A-arms are .005” (.13mm) undersized. That leads to inadequate performance of the sway-bar system. RPM solved that by eliminating the molded ball entirely and replaced it with a more stout, machined pivot ball (not included – see “NOTE” below), with closer tolerances on the ball diameter. Each RPM A-arm for the B44 is molded in black and comes with RPM's limited lifetime warranty against breakage. When performance counts and the goal is to get across the finish line, you can count on RPM to get you there!

NOTE: RPM A-arms for the B44 fit the B44, B44.1, B44.2 & B44.3. Individuals wanting to run a sway bar system must use any standard 4.3mm ball stud such as Associated ASC6276. RPM recommends Associated balls studs for the most consistent diameter, but any 4.3mm ball stud with a 4-40 x ¼” thread will work.

RPM B44.3 Front A-Arm (Black) (2)
These arms ARE very durable compared to the stock B44.2 arms. However, they do have quite a bit more flex than the stock arms. Be aware that you may have to add an extra shock limiter inside your front shock to avoid the issue of your arm flexing to the point it allows the dog bone to pop out of the drive cup in your diff during a wreck. This doesn't happen frequently, but I have seen it happen to multiple drivers at our local indoor track.

These arms are awesome. Broke my share of stock a arms (I seem to clip pipe couplers trying to scrape off those last 1/10th of a second) but I've had the same set on my buggy since February and haven't had a problem. No cvd's popping out either.
