Reedy Zappers have returned! Originally Reedy used the Zapper name to classify their unique NiMh batteries above the competition. These 7.4V batteries are recommended for those who race where approved batteries are mandatory, and feature the same discharge curve characteristics as the High Voltage 7.6V versions. Additionally, when the ROAR enforced 8.4V (4.2V/cell) rules are active, Zappers will offer a improved punch and performance compared to a standard LiPo pack. This is due to an above average voltage threshold, with a flatter discharge curve which lasts longer into your race.

Whats with all these zapper reviews of puffed cells? I have this pack and have been using for months now with no issues. I have had other high dollars lipos puff on me and it sucks when you spend that much on something that is so hit or miss. Can't any manufacturers make lipos that arent like playing russian roullete on whether they will puff or not? And i dont buy that junk that its user error b/c ive had cells puff and paid strict attention to the mfc instructions. Im reluctant to buy another even though ive had a good experience with this one. Will i get a "bad one " next time and waste my money? It's like playing the lotto

I've had mine for 5 months now and it seems to be excellent quality. I run it in 4x4sc which is extremely hard on batteries. There is absolutely no puffing at all. If things change i will update.

bought 4 of these,2 puffed 2 burst open after 12 charges at 1c on a cell pro 6 wont buy again no help from reedy basically gave me the run a round 600 dollars in zapper batteries 2 shorties an 4 regular size all puffed or burst opened but one would not recommend at all
