This is the Reedy SQ 5200mAh, 2S Hard Case Li-Poly Battery Pack. Reedy’s SQ LiPo battery is now available for high powered mod motor applications! This hard-case battery fits in the same footprint as a two-piece side-by-side saddle pack, but delivers slightly less power that makes mod motors easier to control. Plus, the reduced weight of the pack makes it easier to reach minimum legal weight and improved front/rear weight balance.
Reedy’s 5200mAh 50C 7.4V SQ LiPo battery shares the same internal construction and chemistry as Reedy’s other competition LiPo batteries and is great for stock and mod applications. This unique design eliminates the need for a jumper wire and complicated balance harnesses, while at the same time reduicing the amount of connections for improved power delivery and efficiency! Dual 4mm sockets with a 2mm balance port allows users to balance charge the battery in the same manner as stick and shorty batteries.

First off: this battery isn't a shorty, but a square to fit the b5m battery tray. But aside from that, it's got smooth delivery, excellent runtime. You'll grow tired of driving before the battery dumps. Because it pretty much fills the whole battery tray, the car has a more planted feel but you lose the ability to move the move the battery back for more traction or forward for more steering
