Traxxas Hard Anodized Teflon Coated Shocks (Long) (2)
I feel a need to point out, given the nature of the other review here, that these shocks are not supposed to be used on a slash. Giving them a bad review for that is like giving a screwdriver a bad review as a hammer. They are legacy spare parts for older trucks. Furthermore, they are one of the best choices for 2.2 comp crawler shocks. Everything that makes them bad for the slash makes them good for crawling. As for the leaking, I can only say that they don't leak under the loads put on them by crawling. Horses for courses as they say. If you tried to skimp on performance shocks for your slash by buying these, then it was your mistake, don't blame traxxas who are doing the hobby a favor by continuing to supply a legacy product for those who want them and KNOW WHAT THEY ARE BUYING. The fact they are 1/3rd the price of competition big bore shocks would have been my first clue, but hey...

Do Not get these for a slash or anything you want to race. They require a smaller sized spring and none of the parts are interchangeable with modern Traxxas shocks. They are downright tiny and succumb to leakage at the bladder/cap area. Sorry to say, these are no good.
