Tekin RX8 GEN2/Redline T8 1/8th Scale Buggy Brushless ESC/Motor Combo (1900kV)
After 10 months of racing large outdoor tracks, this combo is still going strong, the only trouble Iv had has been from my crappy soldering. Iv now got a good solder station for the 10awg wire I use & I havent had a problem since.

Tekin RX8 GEN2/Redline T8 1/8th Scale Buggy Brushless ESC/Motor Combo (1900kV)
Great power, super smooth, NOT reliable. No one at our club has been able to run a complet season without having to send back their ESC for repairs.

Tekin RX8 GEN2/Redline T8 1/8th Scale Buggy Brushless ESC/Motor Combo (1900kV)
Got a chance to test the final pre-production units in both a truggy and buggy and Im very impressed. Brushless 1/8 scales I have driven in the past have not had the smooth power delivery that the Tekin system has. The Tekin sensored system allows for controlable throttle in tight sections of the track while still having instant acceleration that electrics are know for.

Tekin RX8 GEN2/Redline T8 1/8th Scale Buggy Brushless ESC/Motor Combo (1900kV)
For me the best combo for 1/8th scale under 4S. I also experienced Tekin's 2050kV motor but 1900kV revealed to be the best balance. Despite Rx8 is easy to tune, Hotwire is a the best choice for extremely fine tuning (especially to adjust the Timing). This ESC is one of the most reliable ESC for this scale. Like several other drivers using Rx8 in our club, I can tell that two things MUST be avoided with this ESC: water and mechanical shocks.
