ST Racing Concepts Slash 2WD LCG Conversion Kit (Gun Metal)
do you want a faster slash? do you have an old rustler and want to try short course? This is great! turned a rusty into a truly fast short course truck with this, a body, and a couple other parts like a arms, and tires. This thing is an awsome handling upgrade either way! took third in the mod 2wd sc A main first time out.

ST Racing Concepts Slash 2WD LCG Conversion Kit (Gun Metal)
I'm sure the performance aspect of this kit is great, thing is I never got to put it to the test because this was an absolute nightmare to install. Evidently, the kit was never updated to apply to newer Slash's that come with the Bell-Crank steering and new receiver box. The kit simply will not work with the stock Traxxas bell-crank without some significant modification. Likewise, the stock receiver box does not fit without cutting off the part that makes it water proof. So add on another $11 for a Rustler receiver box to the $70 this kit will already cost you with all the other rustler parts and whatever it will cost to DOWNGRADE to the old white steering rack and servo saver if you can even find one. Furthermore the instructions, which you have to go online to find and vague and not very comprehensive. After spending an entire day trying to get my steering to work properly I'm done, I'm going back to the stock chassis and this kit is going up on eBay. If you have an older style Slash or Rustler this kit will work great for you, ignore my review and go ahead and buy it, but if you have a newer Slash that has the newer bell crank and receiver box, don't bother. You'll spend more time carving out the chassis with a dremel than you will racing. I wish STRC would have made a point of saying that their kit does not work on the newer Slashes.
