This is an entry level buggy made by a good company. This is a good car to start with. You will have to go through and tighten everything first. If you look at the price and compare it to a kit, there is a big difference. The design is outstanding but some of the parts they use arent the same as the kit to cut cost. Parts that you will need to upgrade are: diff gears (they have only 2 planetary gears vs. 4),shock towers(too thin, i doubled up the front), motor pinion gear(15 tooth is better vs. 12), servo horn(plastic will break), all screws weak but work, tires are for soft dirt only (bad inserts), stock body is paper thin. To upgrade it will be expensive.I have ran this car on a big boy track with nitro cars and have beat it up fairly good and only bent a shock shaft and broke one arm (no big deal). If youre afraid to break stuff this hobby isnt for you. Also using good judgement when you drive helps. If i was to do it all over maybe i would go with the nitro version which cost about the same. With all that said, Kyosho is still the best.

Kyosho Inferno MP9e TKI ReadySet 4WD Electric Race Spec 1/8 Off Road Buggy w/Syncro 2.4GHz (Blue
Likes: Good buggy, very stable, allow lots of setups. Very good servo and esc, waterproof, and very honest motor. Excellent radio! Light weight.good looking. Dislikes: Just put it to bash 1 wheel fell of, not a hard bashing buggy, 1 slow frontal crash and the front arm broke.

Kyosho Inferno MP9e TKI ReadySet 4WD Electric Race Spec 1/8 Off Road Buggy w/Syncro 2.4GHz (Blue
I originally wrote a good review on this product and should not have. After having it for only a month...I put near $200 dollars in parts into this car. I figured that by buying a legendary R/C car it would have some durability...not the case. In the relatively minor "incidents" with this car I broke the motor mount,a front CVD,and bth front metal steering knuckles. I took out the awesome electronics and sold it to a buddy and the center diff destroyed itself right after he got it up and running. I've been running rc for 25 years and this was the biggest disappointment I have ever bought.
