HPI Racing Savage XL 5.9 Big Block 1/8 Scale RTR Monster Truck w/2.4GHz Radio
This is a great truck tons of power right out of the box. I have had mine for about a year and a half its amazing for bashing and some times racing mostly its a better basher. I would recomend this truck to experienced people because it is very fast and has a lot of tourqe. I recomend getting a r r racing 15t clutch bell and a steel spur gear 52t cause you will usually strip them out. Overall it is a great truck. I hhpoe someone finds this helpful!!!!!!!!!

+1, the truck does need a servo right out of the box. Mine stripped first run. Also to add if your out for size this truck is it. Very impressive right out of the box and I don't know why the 5.9 gets a bad rap?? It fires right up no problem and idles all day and seem to have more bottom and mid vs the losi 454. Awesome truck plane and simple. Also its alot easier to work on than the x..

This is an amazing bashing truck. It has loads of power out of the box. It will take a beating and ask you for more! With that said i would look into getting a new throttle/brake servo as the factory ones tend to go out on it. Other than that this is a sound truck and is great for beginners to start on. You can front flip it 50 ft and roll it another 30 and it will drive to the next bashing spot with ease.

truck was way bigger then expected so that was cool, motor would start and idle and drive fine then once you let off the throttle it would die, ran a half tank of gas in it and the pullstart shaft holder needle bearings came apart and ruined the piston and cylinder so not very happy and HPI has just been going EH when i talk to them so that is awesome, had to spend another $150 to get it to run again, i hope it isnt always this expensive to run
