This is the Axial AM55 55T Rock Crawler 540 Size Electric Motor. Designed exclusively for RC Rock Crawlers. Easily equip or upgrade (comes with bullet connectors. No soldering required) your AX10 RTR for more low-end pull and slower wheel speed while crawling.

Axial AM55 540 Rock Crawler Electric Motor 55T
I use this on my AX10, controlled by an XL-5 waterproof ESC and it makes for a great pair. I had to put the capacitors on it that came with my ESC, but that is a pretty quick task. This is a great motor and for the money, you simply can't beat it. With the stock 87-tooth Axial spur and 14-tooth pinion, I have yet to find a circumstance where I wished I had a different motor or gearing setup. Super slow creep when I need it and plenty of wheel speed for hopping when I need that. Axial is giving people more than their money's worth with this motor.

Awesome motor. Have a ax10 that came with a 27t. Motor died so I bought this and it made the car way more drivable under load. Very pleased will be buying another one for my other crawler build

Pretty happy with this motor. Its durable and cheap. Great for crawling. I still need to play around with gearing. So far its fine on my SCX10 with heavy weighted wheels.
