Not only the best rtr the best kit!!!! Heres what I did, Put hitech 7955 on the throttle and break and steering. Put the turbo button on the 350. Used the protek 6.6volt 1700 mah reciever pack. Engine break in was accomplished by using byrons 25%nitro 9% 0il and I added the byrons lube booster to bring the oil content to 12%. Idled 4 tanks using a heat gun at temps 200-210 and ran 4 tanks phat at 1/8 speed. this motor rips. Oh and I knoe this is a rtr but make sure you adjust the starter box to […] |

ok person with servo trouble make sure you set your endpoints correctly because they usally dont from the factory which will make your servos last alot longer and for throttle you should really have a 9100 if your racing |

I recently got the losi 8ight 2.0 and when I took it out of the box it felt it like VERY solid buggy, this was my very first nitro car and I had a little trouble getting it started but after I started it It ran great. After adjusting the ride Height and camber and adjusting the shocks, I was getting so many compliments on how my buggy ran. I REALLY recommend the Losi 8ight 2.0 RTR buggy for a novice or advanced driver. GREAT PRODUCT. |

Picked up this RTR Kit from my local hobby shop and I have to say for my first nitro vehicle in years this was perfect. I haven't been much of a Losi fan since I started the hobby, but this is one product that might turn heads. The Radio it comes with is so smooth and responsive and for an RTR it's absolutely unbeatable. The starter box is a real plus over standard pull-starts that I've messed with though buying extra batteries for it was kinda lame. The motor has the speed and the punch to hang[…] |

This is the best 1/8 buggy rtr on the market, very forgiving(maybe because it is balance they put the engine in the middle) just few upgrades this buggy will rock and roll and do not underestimate the power of this losi engine, fast and durable just do proper break in and cleaning,it's durable based on my exp. i already used 6 gallons on this engine still with a lot of power..and I lost control on this buggy twice and over rev the engine.. the engine still works like a charm..well this buggy spe[…] |

Well the jr servos aren't good at all. I had to replace mine after my first race. -//- This is the best RTR out there I bought mine a month ago and took it to the track a week later and won the first race I race with it. If you have the money you should buy it. |

Bought this buggy a year ago and have been bashing and racing. Only servos and a new engine (my fault) have been replaced. I would recommend this package to anyone who's planning beginner nitro. |

I'm in the process of buying a second rtr, losi hit the mark of high standards with this buggy. As far as the negative remarks from the one I'll leave nameless, make sure all of the metal to metal screw are thead locked, including the flywheel nut and remember that if you're backyard bashing to richen the needle a little because they all run hotter in the grass than on a track. Servos are good as long as endpoints are set. ALL IN ALL THIS BUGGY IS TOP NOTCH, or I wouldn.t buy a second one. |

Got this package as my first buggy and i'm loving it. Being an inexperienced driver, I've gave this thing some SERIOUS punishment and it's held up beautifully. I did bend the rear shock tower a tad, but that's because I NAILED a concrete wall. If this thing can withstand my current level of driving, it deserves kudos. |

Thank You so much A Main!!! I just took delivery of my first Losi 8ight a week ago, I haven't broken it in yet, but what a true hot rod this buggy is. Everything appears to be solid. I was impressed with the extra high torque digital servo's it came with like on the 810. The radio definitely has alot of bling. After I break in the engine, I'm goin to install an RE11 pipe & a turbo head conversion kit from Losi as a baseline. What a great purchase!!!! |

This buggy is a great deal. It will compete and hold its own with the 1500 2000$ buggy kits. servos suck, dont even try to run a track with them. They are too slow and weak. jr 8711 stearing 9100s throttle. 4 shoe steel flywheel clutch works nice. I love my 8ight rtr . I race it every weekend , and my $1700 mugen mbx6t. I am faster w 8ight |

In response to Jesus Renato Yulo,
If you are thinking about buying this car, don't listen to him! 1 angry customer speaks 100x louder than a happy customer, and the chance of you getting a dud or being like Jesus Renato Yulo (where everything is user error) is 1/100 bascially. It's a great car. |

I have been into rc racing for 3 years now and Losi I think is the best yet!I bought this product and I must say that I am very pleased with it.The starter box is not necessarily the best of quality but it does get the job done.Of course the Spectrum radio is topnotch. The speed odometer on my buggy sometimes does not work which I believe it is do to the sensor that is attached to the radio tray, gets dirty.Once you clean the sensor it works fine. The servos are also great and get the job done for […] |

This is the best price for what you get buggy. I agree with the explanations given by other reviewers. I have been through 3 races with the stock servos and not a problem yet. Also, the motor does have a bit of pinch, more then I am used to for my RB but about on par with Nova. I am very happy, the telemetry is mainly cool because of the temp and the fact that I did not have to set it up. The only issue I have is that it is near impossible to install the transponder without cutting out some[…] |

That flywheel problem you are experiencing is due to the engine being very tight when new. If you loosen the glow plug a tad and preheat the engine with a heat gun to around 200 degrees the engine will turn over very easy. All these nitro engines are very tight at TDC when new. That's why they have to "break in". Once you get a few tanks through the engine it will gradually start easier and easier. I always preheat my engines until around the 1/2 gallon mark. -//- I think Losi just took rtr[…] |

Hi Guys
Sorry to say that I am very disappointed with this car.
The motor's flywheel grove is too narrow. My starter's box flywheel, is getting worn out fast. The motor gets stuck and I have to open the plug and place some oil into the cylinder.
I have HPI cars and they are perfect.
I see on forums that the motor's flywheel grove on the chassis, has to be sharpened
to help the starter's box flywheel get into it.
I have bought an RTR so everything will be Ready To Run.
Losi please make a b[…] |

Yo whats up, i just got my eight 2.0 today i love it. I love the spektrum radio. The jr servos are very responsive. The engine is great .I clocked it at 55 mphs. It took a Little tuning though. I would recomend the eight 2.0 to anyone beginners, novice and so on. This buggy is definetly a 10 0ut a 10.
