Brushless 1/8 scales I have driven in the past have not had the smooth power delivery that the Tekin system has. The Tekin sensored system allows for controlable throttle in tight sections of the track while still having instant acceleration that electrics are know for. 2 of 3 customers found this review helpful. fred ferrando - Rating: Verified Owner Sunday, December 18, 2011 For me the best combo for 1/8th scale under 4S. I also experienced Tekin's 2050kV motor but 1900kV revealed to be the best balance. Despite Rx8 is easy to tune, Hotwire is a the best choice for extremely fine tuning (especially to adjust the Timing). This ESC is one of the most reliable ESC for this scale. Like several other drivers using Rx8 in our club, I can tell that two things MUST be avoided with this ESC: water and mechanical shocks.
