I bought these as an upgraded to the SCX10 kit shocks, thinking it was ALL aluminum as the description suggests. However, only the body is aluminum, not the cap - which is pretty important to know. The reservoirs are fake and the separator piece for the dual rate springs catches on the shock body threads making it feel "notchy" when it compresses rather than smooth. I think they are way too expensive for what they are and it's misleading to call it an "aluminum shock set". I could have just bought the aluminum bodies for much less and had the same thing. |
