I have had one these 21-4's for a few months , It has a awesome power band from bottom to top like no other engine I have ever owned before. Running 30% sidewinder , 97t plug, 6.5 carb insert , 9901 nova pipe & short header. In a 8ight buggy you can run a 14t clutch bell on a smaller tight track with a LOT of bottom end & TOP end , and a 10 min run time ... This engine is well worth the price....I am comparing this engine to RB C-6 , V-spec , ninja which I have owned ... -//- My error in the last review , I am using the losi RE-10 pipe & header...just to let you know...everything else in that review is correct..My bad.. -//- I just picked one a week ago & have been going thru the break in process , I am using the losi RE-11 pipe & the 6.5 carb insert turbo plug 97T & 30% sidewinder race blend .The losi pipe is priced right I hope it is a good combo with this engine so far so good I will know more when I am fine tuning the engine for racing , looking for the 11 minute run time & that sweet all around power from bottom to top. This engine so far feels like no other I have had It wants to GO...rocket power ( I have run some good engines like the V-spec , RB C-6 & Ninja) I will get back with a update when I am done breaking in the engine... -//- Shane Bedford, What header do you use with that nova 9886 pipe ?? |
