I use this on my AX10, controlled by an XL-5 waterproof ESC and it makes for a great pair. I had to put the capacitors on it that came with my ESC, but that is a pretty quick task. This is a great motor and for the money, you simply can't beat it. With the stock 87-tooth Axial spur and 14-tooth pinion, I have yet to find a circumstance where I wished I had a different motor or gearing setup.
