I bought this part if you because I found myself stripping the screw threads from the standard plastic tower mount regularly. I fitted the Aluminium part to the car, and I loved the way it looked. I also liked the way I could torque up the screws on the front shock tower knowing they wouldn't pull through. Within a couple of race meetings I found the fatal flaw for the Aluminium version.
