I have two and they do exactly what I bought it for - It protects my Radio. The foam is a good fit and I feel very good knowing my radio is not going to be damaged in transit and storage. I have used these cases for almost 3 years and they still do the job I bought them for. I wouldn't own a radio without having this case for it.
All this business with the locks - who cares, the latch system works perfect. Think about it - if someone wants to take whats inside and finds that it is lock[…] |

It's alright as a hardcase. Light weight, decent protection for your radio from drops and falls. The quality seems ok, but nothing to get excited about. It would be nice to see better foam inserts, but I really can't complain as what's in there is decent enough.
I haven't had any problems with the locks, but there is a bit of a trick to them. To lock them, you have to put the key in and turn it clockwise, past the point where it "clicks" until the key is back in the starting position. To[…] |

The case has good quality and is very durable. I had no problems with it yet and is definitely worth the money. |

Works great for the DX3R......BUT does not work with the DX3R PRO. The drop down wheel on the Pro makes the radio about an inch wider, maybe more.
After just 1.5 years one screw holding the handle came loose. Luckily my radio wasn't in there at that moment. Loctite and retightened. Worked good. Radio quit soon after though. |

Great case!! I used a" soft" brand case before:; this is far better. The foam is sturdy enough to carry a stop watch, lipo voltage checker and programming card in the pockets as well as the transmitter(DX3R) As far as the locks go, if they steal the case for what's inside, 2 little locks won't deter a thief!!
Easy to keep clean as well. Highly recommend this case. |

Good case. good protection for your radio. imo much better than any soft case. I have hade no problems with the locks myself but thats not why I bought it anyway. I like that they include both foam inserts with it. always feel more secure having my Dx3r inside it. |

I agree with everyone else... the case itself is nice but the locks don't work very well, so don't plan on locking it if you need too. The case is lightweight and the foam inside is nice but just seemed to be thrown in there with no adhesive. Unless you want a hard case I would explore my options. I also thought to just use the box the radio came in, but now it's too late. |

It is just that, a hard carrying case. Don't expect much for your money on this one.
It's made very cheaply and the locks do not work properly.
I had to do some tweaking right out of the box just to get it to close properly.
The included foam inserts work well and offer decent protection for said Tx units. (I use a DX3R)
If I had seen this in person, I would NOT have bought it. |

Its an ok case. The locks don’t really work that well if not at all. Could be cheaper for the quality. But at least I got nice foam to protect my DXR3. |
